28/365 Colours of the Rainbow - VIOLET

Last year I went on a painting course. I loved it but only get around to it when doing the course and have stopped again. I would love to have a table set up permanently with my painting stuff so I would actually get around to it!

27/365 Colours of the Rainbow - INDIGO

Indigo was so difficult to come up with so I raided my wardrobe!

I love baking and when I had a look through the presses so many items had the colour blue.

25/365 Colours of the Rainbow - GREEN

When I think of the colour green I think of grass! This pic was taken on Sunday as I am never home early enough to take a pic outside. This is the site I hope to build on. Fingers crossed for 10th February - decision date with council.

One of my favourite flowers is a sunflower and when I thought of yellow I immediately thought of the sunflower. These are fake ones as no real ones around!

I have to share a pic from last year! We came across a field of sunflowers in Ireland and so I am cheating but have to show you's!

My mam has a guest room which she painted bright orange for my cousins who call it their playroom. The colour for me is awful but the kids like it. I added some other orange stuff I found.

We still have a poinsettia in our house from Christmas. I love the vibrant red flower.

I was driving through Phoenix Park this evening and I had to pull over and take a pic! Thanks to the stretch in the evenings I get to see a little bit of light when driving home!

I'm using Grafton St to represent my love of shopping but I have to admit I rarely shop there. When I was on Grafton St yesterday the sky was a beautiful blue so had to take a pic!. I love Penney's, New Look and Monsoon.

I love wine. I'm not an alcoholic (better make that clear!!) but love a nice glass with a meal. My favourite is Pinot Grigio but as the pic shows I will drink anything.

I love food particularly strawberries and chocolate. Can't buy decent strawberries at this time of year so had to settle with the top of a strawberry jam pot.

Favourite Thing #3 Shoes

I have always loved shoes. This is only a small sample of the shoes I own! My favourites are the red patent T-bars which I wore for my wedding. I also love the irregular choice purple shoes and the black Schuh shoes. No matter what size I have been my shoes have always fitted and thus my love affair has grown stronger!

My husband hates posing for pictures so I am cheating with today's picture and taking a pic of a framed picture a neighbour gave me. I love this picture! I have always loved taking pictures and have 1000s pictures.

14/365 Childhood Memory #4

Childhood Memory #4 MAYO!!! As a child my granddad would get me to support Mayo rather than Meath as he was originally from there. I loved to go to games but thankfully couldn't get tickets to the finals in '96 and '97!! I was mad about my granddad and when he died when I was 13 I knew I would never support any other county. Very difficult when I married a big Meath supporter. I had this cake topper to have a reminder of my granddad on the day. I'm sure he would have loved it.

Childhood memory #3 I loved the Rubiks cube however could only ever get 2-3 sides complete. So I would swap the stickers around to make it look like I completed it!!

My little cousin (2 and a half) came over so I was on the floor playing. Every kid that comes to our house loves the little dogs and the russian dolls.

Spent too long at pool yesterday and despite factor 30 got burnt so spent day applying aftersun! Heading home tonight.

Spent day at pool on roof of hotel. It was a lovely relaxing last day.We went to a samba show in the evening which was a little bit cheesy but the outfits were amazing.

Full day tour of Rio. Amazing day. Went to Christ the Redeemer and up the Sugar Loaf. When going up the sugar loaf the cable car stopped which was very scary. Even the tour guide got freaked. I was so glad to reach the bottom!

My first new years day as a wife! I spent first half of New Year's Day in a jacuzzi. In the middle of the background is Paraguay, Brazil is on the right and I'm in Argentina. After this pic was taken it rained for the rest of the day :(
